big News: Man United told they could sign superstar for just £53million

Fanish giants Real Madrid are prepared to listen to offers for Welsh winger Gareth Bale in the January transfer window of around just £53million and Manchester United are believed to be preparing a bid – according to reports from the Daily Express.

Manchester United have been long-time admirers of Bale, with the Red Devils chasing the Welsh attacker since his days with Southampton but the speedy winger has somehow always proven to be an elusive target to the Premier League giants. Nevertheless, United have persisted with their chase for Bale over the years and it finally looks like their hard work is finally going to pay off as it has been reported that Real Madrid are willing to listen to offers for the Welsh international.

It is believed that due to Bale’s persistent injury problems and loss of form in recent seasons, Los Blancos are looking to sell the Ex-tottenham star for around just £53million, while there is still market for him, and United are rumored to be the most likely destination for the former Tottenham superstar.

Courtois’ representatives have told Real Madrid the goalkeeper is desperate to leave Chelsea for a move to the Bernabeu, according to reports. Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has claimed the Belgian stopper’s camp have already started laying down the groundwork for a switch to La Liga.

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is believed to be Los Blancos’ first choice, but Courtois is keen to push through a move and take the No 1 spot instead. If Courtois does head to Madrid, where his ex-girlfriend and their two children are now living, Chelsea would need to snap up a replacement or field reserve stopper Willy Caballero.

A number of leading names have been linked with the Blues ahead of the transfer window, including out-of-favour Psg star Kevin Trapp and England international Jack Butland.
